Confidence Does Not Need to Be Built. It Needs to Be Uncovered.

September 7, 2026

There are literally tens-of-thousands of books designed to convince you to believe in yourself, repeat affirmations in the mirror, imagine the life you desire and pretend you already have success.

Many of these books offer genuine insight and knowledge.

Their limitation lies in the problem they are attempting to solve.

The problem is what they are trying to solve.

Most are not addressing the root issue. Instead, they are adding something new – motivation, hype and optimism.

My approach models solutions differently.

Firstly, my solution assumes that nothing additional needs to be added.

Whatever occurred in your past that led you to feel uncertain, hesitant, small or doubting, was not an indication that you were created differently from everyone else.

It indicated that something unique was buried beneath all the obstacles life presented you with: rejection, comparison and confusion.

Seasons where your best efforts produced little visible return.

Things buried deep don’t require replacement, they need excavation.

The process of excavation takes place slowly.

It involves the removal of what has accumulated on top of the person you already are until there is sufficient room for the original version of yourself to breathe and function.

This process takes time, and although it can be uncomfortable, it is the only path to developing confidence that remains steady under real pressure, not just during seasons of comfort.
